WHAT IS VISCODERM® HYDROBOOSTER?


Viscoderm® Hydrobooster is a stabilised hyaluronic acid injectable skinbooster that offers a dual function: 


Deep Hydration:

-Improving elasticity, radiance and smoothness of the skin.


Superficial Stretching:

-Stretching superficial wrinkles for those with moderate to advanced signs of ageing.

-Particularly indicated for the dynamic areas of the face (around the mouth, lips or on the forehead).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Viscoderm® Hydrobooster essentially works from the inside out, helping to re-establish the support structures of the skin tissue. Hydrobooster can be used on its own or as an alternative to fillers. When combined with other treatments, the Hydrobooster is a fantastic addition when treating those dynamic wrinkles, especially for those trickier areas on the face, like upper lip lines and crows feet.

FAQs

  • Can Viscoderm® Hydrobooster be used in conjunction with other treatments?

    Yes certainly, at consultation the clinician will discuss all your treatment options and devise a treatment plan that is bespoke to you.

  • How long does Viscoderm® Booster last?

    We usually recommend a course of two treatments initially, 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments (one session) will be required every 6-9 months.

  • Does Viscoderm® Hydrobooster have side effects?

    You might experience slight redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness. It is normal to feel “firmness” in the treated area for the first few days; over time the area will soften. It is recommended not to massage or manipulate the treated area(s). These possible side effects are usually mild and related to the procedure. Most are short-term and disappear within the first few weeks.
