How do you use Obagi-C® Fx?

You will be advised of a bespoke skin care programme by one of our Nurse prescribers in the clinic. An example of how to use the system is below: Massage a small amount of the C-Cleansing gel and lukewarm water onto the skin, rinse completely and pat dry. Repeat morning and night. Obagi-C balancing toner (if on oily system) apply 3-4 pumps across the whole face. Repeat morning and night. Apply 5-7 drops of the C®-Clarifying Serum to the attire face. AM only. Apply 1-2 pea-size drops of the C®-Exfoliating Day Lotion, and massage gently until completely absorbed. AM only. Follow with the C®-Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF50, applying liberally before makeup and/or 15 min before sun exposure. AM only. Apply approx 1-2 pea-size drops of the C®-Therapy Night cream of an evening, after cleansing, and massage gently into the entire face. PM only.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant which eliminates free radicals that age the skin. Studies have shown topical Vitamin C, in the most effective form (L-ascorbic acid), can help improve sun protection, repair sun damaged skin, reduce fine lines, stimulate collagen building and potentially reduce discoloration of the skin.

With Vitamin C and Arbutin the Obagi-C® Fx System for Normal to Dry Skin or Normal to Oily skin includes five hydroquinone-free products that improve the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles and rough skin.

How to apply
You will be advised by your clinician on how to use your system in more detail.

An example of a possible routine includes:

Morning Routine:
- Apply a small amount of the Obagi-C® Rx C-Cleansing Gel to damp face and neck.
- Rinse completely with lukewarm water and pat dry.
- After cleansing, apply five to seven drops of Obagi-C® Fx C®-Clarifying Serum to the entire face or as directed by your clinician.
- Follow with Obagi-C® Rx C-Exfoliating Day Lotion and apply 1-2 pea-sized amounts to the face and neck in the morning. Massage in gently.
- Apply Obagi Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50 under makeup and 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Evening Routine:
- Apply a small amount of Obagi-C® Rx C®-Cleansing Gel to damp face and neck. Rub in a circular motion and rinse completely with lukewarm water. Pat dry.
- Follow with a pea-sized amount of Obagi-C® Fx C® Therapy Night Cream to the affected area once a day or as directed by your clinician.
