The Neferititi Neck Lift aims to rejuvenate the lower part of the face by targeting folds or sagging skin, smoothing a dimpled chin, removing lines on the neck and redefining the jawline.

HOW DOES BOTOX® TIGHTEN THE NECK?

Loose sagging skin on the neck can appear as part of the ageing process but it can also be worsened by other factors such as weight change, UV exposure, genetics and gravity. Although the neck can be tricky to treat due to its delicate nature Botox® injections can be used to treat the horizontal "necklace lines" and vertical "platysmal bands".  This results in a tighter more youthful appearance as well as redefining the jaw, reducing the appearance of the jowels and the pre-jowel sulcus.

This treatment is perfect in combination with dermal filler treatments in the lower face as well as hydrating treatments in the neck. Combination treatments can be discussed during your treatment consultation, where we will develop a bespoke treatment plan just for you.

CASE STUDY

This patient felt her neck was starting to look neglected in comparison to her face but she was unsure whether anything could be done about it. Following her consultation she commenced a treatment plan combining regular Botox injections to target the platysmal bands and Obagi Medical skin care to tackle her skin tone and texture. The picture on the right shows the patient at her review appointment 3 weeks following Botox injections and you can see an immediate reduction and softening of the platysmal bands.

  • Can Botox get rid of a turkey neck?

    The appearance of a turkey neck is often due to the vertical "platysmal bands" that appear when we contract these muscles in our neck. Botox® injections can help to relax the muscles helping to smooth and soften the appearance of the "turkey neck".

  • Does Botox® in the Platysmal bands work?

    Yes, this treatment is very effective. You will be examined for your suitability for treatment during your face-to face consultation. 

  • How can I make my neck look younger without surgery?

    It is essential that you protect your neck from the Sun with a broadspectrum SPF. We recommend using  Obagi Sun protection range. You may also wish to add in a Vitamin A product to your skincare routine. Regular Botox® injections in the area can maintain a smooth appearance. technology in the form of skin tightening may also be an option.
